Beef herd resurgence is good news for hay and fodder growers
The resurgence and rebuilding of the national beef herd is good news for fodder growers around Australia, with fodder aggregation and marketing company Feed Central predicting strong demand for quality hay.
In a pre-season update webinar held last week (see link at base of page), Feed Central general manager Cieran Maxwell said high-end quality feed would find a good market with strong confidence running through dairy, beef and feedlot sectors.
